Mary Ann Dewan, Ph.D.

Dr. Dewan is an education leader with over 36 years of experience as a teacher, administrator, researcher and professor. She is recognized for her expertise and commitment to equity and inclusion. Her work has led to more

inclusive school environments and the expansion of school based mental health and wellness services. In addition to chair of the KIC’s Board of Directors, she serves on a number of boards and commissions.

Mary Ann believes the Children’s Agenda provides an essential and important organizing framework to improve outcomes for children, youth and families with a focus on equity.
