Blended Families & Step Parenting
When: Wednesday, March 10, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Location: Sunnyvale City Hall, West Conference Room, 456 W. Olive Ave.

Teacher, step parent, and Marriage, Family Therapist Trainee Janice Shapiro will educate the group about step family developmental stages and how to normalize the step family as a family unit.  This workshop will also explore issues that are characteristic of the "blended family" experience including establishing parental roles, coping with step parenting challenges, and steps to building a strong, cohesive family unit amid change.

Child care is not available for these workshops, but children may attend with a parent, if needed.
